Views:

One man is in custody after a drug bust on Erie's east side, early Friday morning.

The suspect is identified as 23-year old Christopher Lanier from Detroit.

Police say they seized $80,000 dollars worth of heroin, hydrocodone, crack and ecstasy.
It went down about 6:00 Friday morning, in an apartment at 342 east 3rd street.

Lanier is facing a number of charges including possession of a controlled substance, and possession with intent to deliver.
"The majority of the most valuable part of it is heroin," said Erie Police Chief Randy Bowers. "It's important that we get that drug off the streets when we can, this was a significant grab here," Bowers added.

Lanier is being held on $250,000 bond.
